Sun Solaris
ZNYX's drivers for Sun Solaris are designed for high
availability applications. Most Solaris drivers are integrated with
RAINlink
technology, and support:
- Link aggregation (for greater overall throughput)
- Fast failover (automatic link failure detection/correction)
- Automatic load balancing (improve network efficiency)
Each ZNYX driver supports either SPARC or
Intel® Pentium® processor - based platforms .

- Solaris 9 (Sparc)
- Solaris 8 (Sparc 32 bit/64 bit)
- Solaris 8 with hot-swap (Netra CT-Series)
NOTICE: There are currently compatibility issues with
the Sun CP2040, CP2060, and CP2080 CPU cards and the ZNYX hot-swap adapters
(Legacy ZX440 series and ZX470 series). We are currently working with Sun

Announces the Immediate Availability of Solaris 7.0 Drivers for Company's
Adapters ZNYX Corporation, a leader in providing high availability networking
solutions for Embedded and Telephony applications, today announced the availability
of Sun Solaris™ 7.0 drivers for the company’s
CompactPCI, PMC, and PCI multi-channel Fast Ethernet adapter product lines.
The drivers support Solaris version 7.0 for both SPARC™ and
Intel® Pentium® processor - based platforms. Embedded in the driver is ZNYX’s RAINlink™ technology
that provides redundant links with fast failover, system-to-switch, and
system-to-system trunking.

Technical Bulletin: Designing High Availability Switched LANs. The purpose
of this bulletin is to provide network managers with design guidelines for
constructing a high availability LAN and an understanding of failover scenarios.
The design described in this paper can be applied to many applications,

web farms; messaging and voice mail; VPNs and firewalls; and general purpose
