ZNYX's drivers for BSDI are designed for high availability applications. Most BSDI drivers are integrated with RAINlink technology, and support:

Link aggregation (for greater overall throughput)
Fast failover (automatic link failure detection/correction)
Automatic load balancing (improve network efficiency)

The ZNYX driver supports Intel® Pentium® processor -based platforms and standard Intel® x86 processor -based platforms.

Note: Drivers for version 3.1 are available directly from Berkeley Software Design, Inc. (BSDI) but do not contain RAINlink features. Version 3.1 notes:

BSDI's 'df' device driver is compatible with ZNYX's ZX210, ZX340Q Series and ZX410 Series adapters with a Digital 21143-based Fast Ethernet controller. The df driver is supplied with BSD/OS 4.0 and via mod ("patch") with 3.1.
The 'de' device driver is compatible with ZNYX's ZX340 Series (non-Q) and ZX310 Series (including ZX314) adapters with Digital 21040/21041/21140-based Ethernet and Fast Ethernet controllers.
