Fast Ethernet PMC Interface Module (PIM) network adapter for embedded and telephony applications. Provides rear panel I/O when used with Motorola MCPN750 processor board and matching TM-PIMC-0001 Transition Module/PIM Carrier. A total of eight 10/100 Mbps ports are available in a single CompactPCI slot by placing two four-port ZX244F modules on the MCPN750 and two ZX244R rear transition modules (RTMs) on the rear PIM carrier card. LEDs on the front panel ZX244F card include power, operate, internal fault, external fault, four link and four activity lights. Four RJ-45 ports are on each ZX244R RTM card. The ZX240 series design conforms to 199x VITA 36 standard for PIM cards. Software is compatible with all ZNYX Networks PCI, PMC, and CompactPCI adapters. RAINlink High Availability software included and embedded into drivers for Solaris, Linux (x86 & MCP750), Lynx OS, VxWorks, and FreeBSD. Separate drivers for WinNT4, Win2K. Portable Driver Kit available for proprietary operating systems.
