RAINlink is a robust software solution providing network link services, including link aggregation (trunking) and failover, for reliable intranet connectivity. RAINcluster consists of a PCI-based multi-channel network adapter and software to provide continuous intranet connectivity (24x365 service) in environments where unexpected downtime is not acceptable. RAINcluster seamlessly adds high availability and high performance to server-to-server (cluster) interconnects, and server-to-switch (server farm and network backbone) connections. RAINlink offers link aggregation and dynamic load balancing capabilities on a wide variety of network interface cards. This flexible software solution leverages current investments in network topologies including IEEE 802.3 (Ethernet, Fast Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet), IEEE 802.5 (Token Ring), and ANSI FDDI.

RAINcluster minimizes network downtime and relieves network bottlenecks by enabling automatic failover/convergence, link aggregation, and load balancing across aggregated links.
