Micron Selects ZNYX As Exclusive Supplier of PCI Network Adapters for U.S. Air Force Contract
ZNYX to Provide PCI Network Adapters in Micron Computer Systems
FREMONT, California - August 19, 1996 - ZNYX Corporation, a network
switching company specializing in PCI-based solutions, announced today it has
been selected by Micron Electronics, Inc. and Hughes Data Systems as their vendor
of choice to supply PCI Ethernet adapter cards in Micron computer systems ordered
by U.S. Air Force. This multi-year agreement calls for ZNYX to furnish their award-winning
PCI Ethernet adapter cards for integration into Micron high-performance servers
and workstations.
This news follows a recent announcement by Micron Electronics
of Nampa, Idaho that the company will serve as subcontractor to Hughes Data Systems
to supply computers and peripherals under the U.S. Air Force Desktop V Program.
The Desktop V Program states the U.S. Air Force may procure in excess of $900
million worth of personal computers, servers and other peripherals.
